Dear Greenpoint,

With great sadness, we must announce our closure after November 17th. We have had the honor of serving you for almost two years, meeting incredible new regulars and helping bring together thousands of guests for birthdays, engagements, first dates, reunions, and more. We couldn’t have asked for more, or express our gratitude enough.

Until November 17, we will be open Tuesday - Saturday for dinner service, and encourage you to make a reservation or just walk-in and say hi. We gave our staff ample notice to allow them to land softly and find new positions elsewhere, so please note that we are working with a smaller crew of incredible, dedicated folks - as such, we will be closing the kitchen by 9:00 each night, and the menu may be slightly abbreviated.

Cecily was founded to try to put our staff first, but the truth is no one working these difficult jobs gets as much as they deserve. If you feel inclined to support our remaining employees further as they enter an uncertain period of unemployment, we have a fund set up to be distributed equally among all our workers (strictly excluding ownership) - the link is below.
